Atha Yoga Training was founded for yoga teachers and yogi’s who want to explore the full spectrum of yoga (beyond asana!). As teachers ourselves, we understand the demands of teaching yoga and how important it is to keep yourself nourished, inspired and educated.
We were tired of going it alone and having to settle for sporadic teacher centered practices and trainings to enrich our own teachings and practices (and also trying to fit them into our busy teaching schedules!). As our practices and teachings evolve, we need to be able to dive deeper into the trove of teachings, techniques and gems yoga has to offer.
Teaching yoga can be one of the most fulfilling careers but it can also be lonely. With Atha Yoga Training, we seek to provide the community embrace that makes yoga teacher trainings so special but for us all to have access to it 24/7 and at our convenience.
Come join our sangha of yoga teachers and stay nourished and inspired!

Dana is the founder and director of Atha Yoga Training. Yoga has been Dana’s passion since 2007. In her “other” life, she worked in the fashion industry spending many stressful years trying to get ahead and chase the next best thing in NYC. When Dana discovered yoga, it dramatically changed not only her life but her entire way of being.
She opened a thriving yoga studio, Afterglow Yoga, in March of 2016 to create a judgment-free space filled with laughter, love and community. A place where like-minded people can connect, learn, grow and feel free to be themselves. Dana’s calling is to share her passion and love of yoga with the world in the hopes that it can touch lives the way it has hers. She is specifically called to work with fellow yoga teachers who also feel the calling to share the treasure trove of gems that yoga has to offer. She founded Atha Yoga Training for that purpose in 2019 as an extension of her studio but the digital offerings soon took off and blossomed into the offerings you see here.
Some of Dana’s teachers include Alan and Sarah Finger, Gurmukh, Lauren Toolin, Rod Stryker and all her students. Her classes offer a unique quality of deep energetic healing, creative sequencing, lots of smiles, classical techniques and inspiration.
Dana is E-RYT500, KRI Level I, (220 hours) and holds additional certifications in Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, SUP Yoga, Hot Yoga, Children’s Yoga and is a Reiki Master Teacher.
